Special projects come from clients who have a specific problem that doesn't fit a standard service — a strategy they want to test before using real capital, a spreadsheet they've been meaning to build, or a data set that needs to be structured before it's useful.

Tools and experience include Excel (advanced formulas, VBA, Power Query), Python (pandas, backtesting libraries, data manipulation), and financial analysis. The right tool is chosen based on the project — not forced into a preferred format.
